What is Glambook?

Glambook is a booking platform that connects beauty professionals with clients. Professionals can showcase their work, set their schedule, and manage their bookings through the app. Clients can easily search for and book appointments with beauty professionals in their area.

What is the difference between Glambook Pro and the Glambook Clients App?

Glambook Pro is the app for beauty professionals, where you can manage your schedule, bookings, and client information. The Glambook Clients App is for clients to search for and book appointments with beauty professionals.

In which countries is Glambook available?

Glambook is currently available in 70 countries, including the United States, EU and UK with plans to expand to other countries in the future.

Are professionals affiliated with Glambook?

Glambook is a platform for independent beauty professionals. We do not have affiliations with individual professionals.

Can I use Glambook as a client?

Yes, the Glambook Clients App is available for anyone to use to search for and book appointments with beauty professionals in their area.

On which platforms is Glambook available?

Glambook is currently available on iOS devices. We plan to add Android in coming future.

Onboarding and Setting up a Profile

Why do you ask for my personal details?

We require some personal information to verify your identity and let the Clients know that you are a real beauty professional. We take privacy and security very seriously, and all personal information is kept confidential and only used for verification purposes.

How can I manage specialisations?

You can manage your specialisations by tapping on the «Menu» button on the bottom right corner, then selecting «View my profile,» and then «Specialisations.» Here, you can add or remove specialisations that you offer.

How can I manage my schedule?

You can manage your schedule by tapping on the «Calendar» button on the bottom navigation bar. Here, you can set your availability and manage your bookings.

How can I upload my portfolio?

You can upload your portfolio by tapping on the «Menu» button on the bottom right corner, then selecting «View my profile,» and then «Portfolio.» Here, you can upload photos of your work and manage your portfolio. You also can upload your portfolio from your Instagram profile in the same menu.

How can I import my client list?

You can import your client list by tapping on the «Client» button on the bottom navigation bar and then «Import clients.» button. Here, you can upload your clients information from your phone’s contact list. You can also add a new client manually from the same menu.

Can clients see my contact details and address?

Clients can only see your business name and address, which you can manage in your profile settings. Your phone number and email address are kept confidential and are only used for booking and communication purposes.

How can I update my details after setting up my profile?

You can update your details by tapping on the «Menu» button on the bottom right corner, then selecting «View my profile,» and then updating the relevant information.

Why do I need to complete my profile?

Completing your profile helps clients find you and understand the services you offer. It also allows you to manage your bookings and communicate with clients more efficiently.

How can I set my visibility to clients?

Your profile is visible to the Clients all time.

Why do you ask for my phone?

Your phone number is kept confidential and only used for booking and communication purposes.

Booking Process

How can I make a booking for my own clients?

You can make a booking for your own clients by logging into your Glambook account and accessing your calendar. From there, select the «Three vertical dots’ button from the upper right corner and tap on the «Create appointment» button. Choose the date and time that you would like to book, choose the service that you will be providing, and enter your client’s information.

Do I need to pay for bookings with my own clients?

No, you never pay fees or commissions for appointments made by your own clients or made using your personal promo- link.

How can I get an external promo-link for my social media and my clients?

You can get an external promo-link by tapping the «Menu» button in the bottom right corner, then the «Promotion» button. From there, you can add your nickname and copy your promo-link and share it with your clients and on your social media platforms.

Why do I need to use a promo-link?

Using a promo-link allows you to attract new Clients from your social media profiles, which will book your services directly through Glambook. When clients use your promo-link to book a service, you are not paying any fees or commissions.

How can clients find and book me?

Clients can find and book you by searching for your services on the Glambook platform. They can also find you through your promo-link or by searching for your name.

How can I attract new customers?

You can attract new customers by having a complete and professional-looking profile, offering competitive pricing, responding quickly to client inquiries, and encouraging your current clients to leave positive reviews.

Create and manage specialisations and services

You can create and manage specialisations and services by logging into your Glambook account and accessing your profile. Then tap the «Specialisations and Services button». From there, you can add new services, set prices, and manage availability.

Online booking settings

You can manage your online booking settings by accessing your Glambook account and navigating to your calendar. From there, you can set your availability, manage your booking preferences, and adjust your pricing.

How can I make a booking manually?

You can make a booking manually by logging into your Glambook account and navigating to your calendar. From there, select the date and time that you would like to book, enter your client’s information, and manually create the booking.

How can I manage incoming bookings?

You can manage incoming bookings by accessing your Glambook account and navigating to your calendar. From there, you can view all of your upcoming bookings and make any necessary changes.

Can I call a client first?

No, it is unnecessary to call a client since our Platform manages all communication on our end. You’ll need to review the appointment request, accept it and provide your services as agreed with the Client through the service. If you experience any kind of issues with the Client you can always contact our Glambook Pro Team and address your question. We’ll resolve the case as soon as possible.

Calendar and Schedule Management

How can I make a schedule?

Tap on the «Menu» button in the bottom right corner and then tap «My Schedule» button. There, you can select the days and times you are available to take appointments.

How can I plan a vacation?

You can easily set up a vacation in your schedule by going to the «My Schedule» section in your profile and selecting the days you will be unavailable. Your clients will not be able to book you during the selected days.

How can I plan exceptions?

To plan exceptions in your schedule, you can go to the «My Schedule» section in your profile and select the days and times you would like to make an exception for.

How can I create a break?

If you need to take a break during your workday, you can add a break to your schedule by going to the «My Schedule» section in your profile and selecting the time when you will be unavailable.

How can I change my timezone?

To change your timezone, go to the «My Schedule» section in your profile, and select the «Timezone» option. You can then choose your timezone from the list of available options.

How do clients see my available slots?

Clients can see your available time slots by going to your profile and selecting the «Book Now» button. They will be able to view the times you have set up in your schedule as available for appointments.

Client Management

How do I add clients manually?

To add a client manually, go to the «Clients» section in the bottom navigation menu, and select the «Add new client» button. You can then enter the client’s details and save them to your list of clients.

How do I import clients?

To import clients, go to the «Clients» section in the bottom navigation menu, and select the «Import Client list» button. You can then upload clients from your phone’s contact list.

How do I delete clients?

To delete a client, go to the «Clients» section in your profile, and select the client you want to remove. Tap on the «Three vertical dots» button on the upper right corner, then «edit» and «Delete client».

How can I add clients to the blacklist?

To add a client to the blacklist, go to the «Clients» section in your profile, select the client you want to block, and click on the «Add to Blacklist» button. The client will no longer be able to book appointments with you.

Is it safe to import a client list?

Yes, it is safe to import a client list. We take the security of your data very seriously, and we use industry-standard encryption to protect your information.

Why do I need to import a client list?

Importing a client list can save you time and help you get started quickly. By importing your client list, you can easily add all of your existing clients to your Glambook account.

What benefits do I have after importing a client list?

After importing a client list, you can easily manage your clients’ bookings and keep track of their information in one place. You can also use the data to analyse your business and make informed decisions about your marketing and services.

Money Management

How can I receive payments from clients?

You can receive payments from clients through the Stripe Payout. You will need to link your Stripe account to your Glambook account to receive payments.

Can I receive cash?

Yes, you can accept cash payments from the Clients.

How can I receive payments from manual bookings?

You can receive payments from manual bookings through the Stripe Payout or in cash if you agreed with the Client this option.

Which platform stores and manages my bank details?

We use Stripe to securely store and manage your bank details.

Why do I need to add a bank card?

You need to add a bank card to pay fees/commissions.

How can I set up a payout?

You can set up a payout through the app. Go to your «Card» section in the bottom navigation menu and set up your payout details.

Payment fees.

We charge a 20% fee on the first appointment from the new Client and 10% from ongoing appointments from this client. If you have your subscription plan, you don’t need to pay any fees.

How can I manage a payout schedule?

You can manage your payout schedule through the Stripe app.

How can I receive payouts from Glambook?

We will automatically send payouts to your linked Stripe account.

Is it possible to receive only cash payments?

No, it is up to Client to decide on the payment method. Some clients prefer to pay no cash.

Transaction history.

You can view your transaction history through the app. Go to your card section in the bottom navigation menu and click on «Transactions» to view your transaction history.

How can I change the currency?

You can change the currency through the app. Go to your account settings and click on «Currency» to change the currency.

I can't find my currency.

If you can’t find your currency, please contact our support team for assistance.

Reviews

How do clients leave reviews?

Clients can leave a review after the appointment has taken place. Once the appointment is marked as completed, clients will receive a notification to leave a review in their Glambook account. They can rate the professional and leave a written review.

How can I dispute a bad review?

If you receive an unfair review, you can dispute it by contacting the Glambook support team. They will investigate the review and take appropriate action if necessary.

How do I improve my rating on Glambook?

You can improve your rating by providing high-quality services and ensuring your clients are satisfied with their experience. Encourage your clients to leave positive reviews, and always strive to go above and beyond to exceed their expectations.

Portfolio Management

How can I manage my portfolio?

You can manage your portfolio in the «Portfolio» section of your Glambook account. From there, you can add new photos, edit existing ones, and organise your portfolio.

How can I upload a photo from my phone?

You can upload a photo from your phone by tapping on the «Add photo» button in the «Portfolio» section and selecting «Moments». You can then select the photo you want to upload from your phone’s gallery.

How can I import photos from my Instagram account?

You can import photos from your Instagram account by tapping on the «Add photo» button in the «Portfolio» section and selecting «Import from Instagram». You will be prompted to connect your Instagram account, and then you can select the photos you want to import.

What are "tags"?

Tags are keywords or phrases that you can assign to your portfolio photos to help clients find them more easily when searching for specific services.

How can I manage tags?

You can manage your tags in the «My Portfolio» section of your Glambook account. From there, you can add, edit, or delete tags for your portfolio photos.

How do clients use tags to find relevant portfolios?

Clients can search for specific services by typing in keywords or phrases related to the service they are looking for. Glambook will then display portfolios that match those keywords or phrases, based on the tags assigned to the photos.

Fees and Subscription

Why do I need to pay?

Fees are charged for each new booking made by a new client through the Glambook platform. This fee covers the cost of using the platform, including payment processing, scheduling, and other features.

Do I need to pay for my own clients?

No, you do not need to pay a fee for bookings with your own clients.

Do I need to pay for clients from a promo-link?

No, you do not need to pay a fee for bookings with the clients from a promo-link.

Fee size

The fee size varies from 20% for the first appointment made by the new client through the Glambook platform to 10% for the ongoing appointments made by such clients.

Subscriptions

Glambook offers subscriptions to professionals that allows professionals to get rid of fees. You have four options: 1 month/3 months/ 6 months/ 1 year.

Why are subscriptions more powerful?

Subscriptions let you increase your financial efficiency by reducing your spend.

Do I need to pay a fee after buying a subscription?

No. You won’t pay any fees or commissions if you have your subscription plane in place.

How can I buy a subscription?

You can buy a subscription in the «Finance» section of your bottom navigation menu.

How do I check if I am subscribed or not?

You can check your subscription status in the «Finance» section of your bottom navigation menu.

How can I cancel a subscription?

You can cancel your subscription in the «Subscription» section at any time through your Apple account.
